Dawn Taylor EA

Dawn is a Senior Tax Manager in the Guildford office specialising in UK and US tax for Private Clients. Dawn has over 25 years of experience in the personal tax field.

Historically, Dawn has assisted companies within the international assignments market and maintained compliance for expatriate assignment populations. More recently, Dawn has assisted individual high net worth and private client portfolios and UK/US law firms. These areas of taxation naturally intersect with knowledge in HR policies, tax equalisation, assignment planning, social security and payroll compliance.

Extended US filing obligations through the introduction of the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act ( FATCA ) has increased US personal and annual filing considerations especially around the reporting in respect of foreign financial assets. The focus on US compliance extends to assisting clients who need to catch up with their US tax reporting obligations through the IRS Streamlined or Offshore Voluntary Disclosure Program (OVDP). This in turn can create opportunities for planning including considerations for US expatriation. Dawn has helped many clients bring their US tax matters up to date and has significant experience in this area.

Dawn is a US Enrolled Agent. Prior to joining Global Tax Network, Dawn worked for Barclays, KPMG, PWC and Frank Hirth.
